We barely made it this week. As far as What I Wore goes. I only have one picture of me and it's not the very best, but decent enough to post. The camera batteries died.

So, I'm not sure how I feel about my hair here. I have naturally wavy hair. It's not necessarily a good thing. It's wavy enough so that I can't let it air dry and expect it to be straight, even blow-drying doesn't do the trick. I have to use a straightening iron and then hope it's not humid outside, which it always is half the year.
What I'd really like is to have long wavy super model hair. And we all know getting hair that looks like that takes time and effort. You can't just step out of the shower and put a little bit of gel in your wet un-combed hair, like I did. At least it wasn't so embarrassing that I couldn't go to the post office that way.
I have a love hate relationship with my long hair. I want long hair so it looks a certain way (and my husband likes it long too), but I never take the time to style it that way. I've mastered the ponytail and messy bun, but isn't that just plain ole cheating when you do it all the time? I've got to start challenging myself and figure out how to make this work or else I just might have to go back to short...

5 I'd love to hear what you have to say!:
I have wavy hair too so I have the same issues. I have found that DEVA Curl AnGel works really well as a gel. It doesn't leave my hair stiff at all. If you'd like to try some let me know. It's a salon brand but I got a good deal on it on Amazon. Even then, it seems like sometimes it looks good with gel and sometimes awful, so there are a lot of other factors besides which product I use! :) I think yours looks cute curly or straight!
And yes, Evening's hair does look adorable there. :)
I have the same wavy hair & it drives me crazy sometimes. I think I'd really like it if I could find time to fix it.
Your outfit is GREAT!!! Looks like it must still be really warm where you are. It's cold here in KY this week.
I have curly/wavy hair. Have you ever tried using a diffuser on it? I have one with the prongs at the end and if you use it on low and just lift a bit you can get some amazing waves! (my daughter has long hair and does this)
cute, stopping by and love the outfit! i'm hosting a huge giveaway at my blog and would love for you to stop by- http://thelovelypoppy.blogspot.com/2011/10/blog-follower-giveaway.html
Hmm...maybe I'll have to try a diffuser. Thanks for the suggestion Melody-Mae!
